Firefly Caskaway Bundle (Designs 1,2,3)

Firefly Caskaway Bundle (Designs 1,2,3)

$209.97 USD

This Single Barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey is derived from Buffalo Trace distillate barreled in Independent Stave barrels and stored in the heat and humidity of Charleston, South Carolina. Bottled at 119.82 proof this 6 year and 5 month old bourbon has all of the characteristics you'd expect from a legacy distillery with a little hometown touch of Firefly's Family Distillery. Each Label is hand drawn by Firefly's wonderful in house artist.

Firefly Distillery is located in the heart of Charleston SC and sits boarding a saltwater river. This salty air has a massive influence on the maturation of the bourbon.

Story Line:

Design 1: A vicious thunderstorm catches a ship by surprise that is transporting valuable spirits across the Atlantic Ocean. The ship, hit broadside with waves, takes on water. Our lone sailor is set adrift after losing his vessel to the sea. As the sailor watches in dismay the only thing he can latch onto is a full barrel of Firefly bourbon that was floating nearby.

Design 2: The Sailor has washed ashore with his trusty barrel of bourbon. He begins to rest as the sun sets on another hot and humid day. The Sailor, unsure of what to do next, smelled the sweet caramel and vanilla notes seeping from the damp wooden staves. He chooses to lean upon his trusty barrel and await the fall of night.

Design 3: The Sailor tarnished by temptation has drunk the contents of his trusty barrel discarding the wood into a small fire. The Bourbon has brought him warmth and company as he drifts off into the evening. The fire crackles as the FireFlies reemerge and dance around the flames. Our sailor swallowed by the aroma of wood char and candied bourbon awaits rescue on the secluded beach he now calls home.

These 3 limited edition labels are purely cosmetic as the Bourbon inside is all from the same single barrel. "The Caskaway" is a story of a lost sailor at sea with his trusty barrel of bourbon.
